Be careful selling used cars... The wife was selling her 2016 Suburban, we just got back from a trip up to NH and these guys came up from Maryland to buy the truck. The loved it, road test was good, just wanted to check the oil before an 8 hour ride. He pulled the dip stick out infront of me, oil level was too low to read on dip stick (oil change his 0% when we were in NH) but half way up the dip stick there was what seemed to be orange residue. He had his buddy check the coolant tank and it was a milk shake. They then tried to negotiate the price by about half. I stayed firm on $2500 off, they came up a little, I told them sorry for this but I will pass. I had just checked the coolant less then 500 miles ago and was very clean. After they left I did an oil change, drained just over 6 quarts of nice BLACK oil. No signs of milkshake in the valve cover or under the oil cap - my experience this would show first. I then decided to check my cameras and noticed the guy in the front, who is the guy that wanted to check the oil level before taking the truck. By seeing this I immediately knew he was lying as he checked it before the road test. then I watched it over and over and saw him pull the coolant cap too and spend some time with the dip stick.
Very glad I did not sell it for the price he offered. Pressure tested my coolant system and all is good. I messaged the "buyer" telling him I watched my cameras and he did a good job and almost fooled me. he instantly read it and an hour later still no response.

BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM GUYS!
