Virginia Tech rallied late in the fourth quarter to defeat Miami, 68-64, and pick up their first ACC win of the season. Miami led by as many as 12 in the fourth quarter, but the Hurricanes did not make a field goal in the final 7:07 of the game and Virginia Tech ended the game on a 11-1 run. Carys Baker hit seven three-pointers and scored 23 points for the Hokies. Baker also grabbed 10 rebounds for the double-double. Carleigh Wenzel added 17 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Miami's Cameron Williams had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
