How to Change a CV Rubber Boot - MG, Rover, Honda & OTHERS

Описание к видео How to Change a CV Rubber Boot - MG, Rover, Honda & OTHERS

This was easier than I thought and can be done more easily than what the Haynes workshop manual says. i.e. it can be done by only unbolting and detaching the lower ball joint. No need to remove the damper/spring/wishbone, driveshaft, steering arm or drain the gearbox oil as the Haynes manual says. The CV joint rubber boot is also quite cheap at around £8 which is the only essential part needed.

Here are some links to get parts:
Generic CV boot kits on Amazon UK: https://amzn.to/2r52t0o
Or on Amazon USA: https://amzn.to/2r3Y1y5

Or on ebay uk: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-534...

Or ebay usa: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-532...

Or specific MGZS kits, some of which come with a cone to stretch the boot over the CV joint so you dont even have to remove the joint. On ebay UK: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-534...
