The great trumpet player Arturo Sandoval demonstrates his use of ribbon microphones at Sweetwater Sound. A Royer R-122 active ribbon mic (for close miking) and SF-24V stereo tube ribbon mic (for distant miking) were used to record the trumpet. An Royer SF-24 stereo ribbon mic and two Mojave Audio MA-300 tube condenser mics were used for recording the piano.
