God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). The Bible makes it clear that we cannot claim fellowship with God while still walking in sin and spiritual darkness. Many choose the darkness because their deeds are evil (John 3:19), but Jesus came as the Light of the World (John 8:12), calling us to walk in His light before darkness overtakes us (John 12:35-36).

To walk in the light means turning away from sin, confessing our wrongs, and allowing God to cleanse us (1 John 1:9). It means no longer loving the world or its temporary pleasures (1 John 2:15-17), but letting God transform our hearts and minds so that we live according to His will (Romans 12:2). Friendship with the world makes us enemies of God (James 4:4), but as children of God, we cannot continue in sin, for His life is in us (1 John 3:9).

Through faith in Jesus Christ, every child of God overcomes this world (1 John 5:1,4-5). We are not defeated, for in Christ we are more than conquerors—victorious through His love (Romans 8:37).

This message is a call to walk in the light, to separate from the darkness, and to live as true children of God who reflect His nature. The time is now—trust in the Light and you will never walk in darkness again.
