1978 Jaguar XJ6 Series 2 | Barn Find | Part 5

Welcome to our 1978 Jaguar XJ6 Series 2 barn find. The Jag was stored in a garage not far from us, only a couple of miles away, since 1999, 24 years ago, when it was taken off the road for maintenance by it’s previous owner.

In this episode we discover a very loud rattle on the engine. After diagnosis the problem we got to stripping the engine down to and make the repairs.

The challenge we have set ourselves in this Jaguar barn find series, is to revive the Jag and to get the car back on the road again, after its long 24year period off the road.
