Using the TPX 3.0 Pro Radar Detector From Adaptiv Technologies in Real Life

Описание к видео Using the TPX 3.0 Pro Radar Detector From Adaptiv Technologies in Real Life

This weeks video shows the operation of the TPX Radar Detection system for motorbikes in both suburban and highway situations. I use the TPX 3.0 Pro system which I have installed on my handlebars using the mounting kit that comes in the box and I have it paired with the TPX wireless headset on my helmet which provides audio alerts. I run my radar on the HighwayNoK setting which ensures I am only alerted about the situations that matter most to me. This is not an installation video nor is it an in-depth review however it shows what you can expect from the TPX radar unit if you have it installed on your motorbike in a couple of typical scenarios. I may provide a more detailed review and guide to the use of the radar and headset at a later date but I hope what you can see here today will help to answer some quick questions. I should also make clear I am not affiliated with Adaptiv Technologies nor the TPX Radar resellers here in New Zealand in any way. I bought and installed my unit after seeing it in use by several of my riding buddies and specifically after suffering from the attention of an over zealous revenue confiscation agent at a time I happened to be just slightly above a criminally low speed limit on an empty country road.
Note: Radar detectors are legal in New Zealand at the time of writing
