Watergrove Parkrun: 20/07/2024. Stunning, hilly run!

This is Watergrove parkrun (Rochdale) on 20th July 2024. Some say the 4th or 5th hardest parkrun in the UK.

A gorgeous place to run. Very scenic and very enjoyable; if you don't mind massive amounts of elevation!

I bumped into Parkrun legend, Stephen Wilson on this run. I thought I had filmed him finishing, but I seem to have it messed up. Sorry!

Stats start a little late but they resolve themselves to the correct GPS.

I finished with a time of 23:50 and in 10th position. I gave it a good effort but not all out - threshold pace, I guess. I don't think I could have gone that much faster however.

This was the final Manchester parkrun for me. I'll probably have to do them all again now in order to record them...
