John Deere Material Collection System Overview

Overview of a John Deere Material Collection System (MCS) comprised of a 3-Bin Bagger, Chute, and Powerflow boot. This setup is pictured on a 2017 John Deere 1023e tractor. This setup (or very similar) will fit on a John Deere X Series, 1 Series, and 2 Series tractor.

This bagging system works off of a belt and pulley tied into the deck spindle. The belt then drives a fan mounted within the Powerflow sending debris up the chute and into the collection portion of the system.

This same setup will work on a 1025r and 1026r however the Powerflow is dependent upon your specific deck. The same thing can be said for the X Series and 2 Series. If you're looking in the used market, then make sure you're asking for model numbers of the tractor AND mower to verify if they're compatible with your equipment.
