Ambā Kāmakshi would come to the entrance of the Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham every day, sometimes twice, as she jauntily rode different vāhanams around the Raja Veedhi. Her counterpart, Shakti svaroopam Pujyashree Jayendra Periava would come out to welcome her and get her darshan. On Feb 27, 2018, she came prancing on a horse in majestic grandeur. He came out along with Pujyashree Bāla Periava and as usual, offered Her vastram and accepted Her prasādam. The difference, was the look on His face. In all the time I have filmed Periava getting a Darshan of Kāmākshi, I have never seen such longing on His face. Please watch this last video of his last night on earth.
