My fifth review in my series of the Top 125 Books of All-Time. Emma by Jane Austen is a classic in every sense of the word. Surprisingly contemporary, despite it being 200 years old. If a classic is a book that is "never finished saying what it has to say," then Emma certainly fits the bill. Pleasantly surprised with the book, but I did think it was fairly surface-level entertainment. Which is okay!
