A very common problem you may have when sewing a dress with a wide neckline is that the neckline gap instead of fit to the body. This will usually be a consequence of the shape and size of the bust but it is a detail that you can easily fix in your pattern. Just look my Anabelle dress pattern example 🤗

It's a shame if you spend hours sewing your dress and suddenly it doesn't fit perfectly. If you make a prototype you can fix this very quickly and without major damage.
Just mark the excess fabric at the neckline and move it with the bust dart.
