Mendham Borough is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey, in the United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 4,981, reflecting a decline of 116 (-2.3%) from the 5,097 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 207 (+4.2%) from the 4,890 counted in the 1990 Census.

Mendham Borough is known for noted landmarks such as the Phoenix House, which serves as the Borough's Municipal Building, and the Black Horse Inn. New Jersey Monthly magazine ranked Mendham Borough as the best place to live in the state in its 2013 rankings of the "Best Places to Live" in New Jersey.

Mendham Township is a township in Morris County, in the central portion of northern New Jersey, United States, located more than 30 miles (48 km) due west of New York City. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 5,869, reflecting an increase of 469 (+8.7%) from the 5,400 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 863 (+19.0%) from the 4,537 counted in the 1990 Census.

Mendham Township is one of the highest-income small municipalities in the United States and was ranked 7th in New Jersey in per capita income as of the 2010 Census. Based on data from the 2012-2016 ACS, NJ.com ranked the township as having the third-highest income in the state, with a median household income of $176,875. Based on data from the ACS for 2014–2018, Mendham Township ranked fifth in the state with a median household income of $185,882.
