BEREA, OHIO - An Elyria woman, 37, was cited at about 9:40 p.m. Oct 8, 2022 after a traffic stop. She was identified as Dominique Camel, but goes by a different name (Assata El Star Bey) on her "moorish sovereign citizen" ID cards. An officer got behind the woman’s Chrysler as she drove east on West Bagley Road before turning onto multiple residential side streets. After being unable to see the vehicle’s temporary tag through the dark tinted rear windshield, he activated his overhead lights on the cruiser in an attempt to stop her. She drove several blocks before stopping in a residential driveway where she was reportedly staying at. She was charged with 4 offenses & was found guilty on all counts when she took the case to trial. This was her first criminal encounter on record with Berea police. Since then, she has been pulled over & cited for fictitious license plates back in March 9, 2023 & arrested for a bench warrant on Sept. 2, 2023 which resulted from her ignoring legal proceedings. Most of the blurs you'll see on the video were done by the police department, I redacted a few extra things such as her minor children's faces.

I agree with the one officer's comments about this being an unfortunate ideology people get sucked into....
