Wool and weaving have been an integral part of Irish culture for centuries. Meet the Cushen family continuing this age-old tradition using historical techniques to weave wool the Irish way.

Six generations of this family have been crafting exceptional textiles in Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny, since the 1700s, and their story continues to this day! They are operating on one of Ireland’s last vertical mills on a site that has stood since the 13th century. Using age-old techniques and machinery to carefully handcraft amazing products.
