New Games, Port and Localization Announcements
• Yoshihiro Kondo of Falcom dropped a few bombshells during an interview with Gematsu, link to the full interview in the description
o Of note, Kondo has
 expressed interest in bringing Trails from Zero and Trails of Azure to the west on PlayStation 4
 And expressed interest in a 3D remake of the Trails in the Sky games on modern consoles
 confirmed Ys IX is in the process of coming to the west

Release Date Updates:
• Amazon’s MMORPG “New World” delayed to August 25th
o Citing the pandemic as the driving force
o Closed beta will be starting in July
o So far the game has been announced for PC Only
Other News
• Recently an indie RPG in the works called Sea of Stars has been making some waves with a recent trailer announcing their kickstarter
o Side note, I make a point of not talking about kickstarters in general to avoid putting myself in a position where I feel like I have to talk about all of the kickstarters, and to avoid sounding like I’m endorsing any of them.
• Well It looks like Yasunori Mitsuda was so impressed by what he saw, he decided to join the team of Sea of Stars as a guest composer
o "I want to write music for this game" was the feeling I had while seeing it convey the nostalgic golden age of the 90s. Although there are still many games being released with this classic style, I don't think players are satisfied with just nostalgia. As seen in their previous game, by adding new systems and ideas to classic formulas, Sabotage Studio breathes fresh, new air into their work.
Impressed by the respect they show for past games while at the same time giving players new ways to have fun, I found myself wanting to make a game with everyone at Sabotage Studio. Please look forward to an exciting adventure.”

• Friday Night I was a guest on Wood’s live-stream charity fund-raiser for Hope from Home stream, and together with other guests we managed to raise $10,000 to help those most affected by the Pandemic.
JRPG Weekly Forecast:
• Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York is coming to Xbox One on April 15th, the game is already available on PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch
• Boot Hill Bounties, an Indie Japanese-style Spaghetti-Western themed RPG is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 14th, and is currently available on PC.

• The other day I got a question from a Patreon supporter, Digita that I didn’t know how best to answer. So I thought I might ask you guys and get your thoughts. What would you say was the saddest RPG you ever played?
o Off the top of my head, and as I’ve thought about it over time, the only RPG that I remember playing that consistently gets me choked up is Terranigma, and maybe parts of Persona 4 Golden. And I’m just gonna not spoil anything from either game, but which games affected you the most?
