After finishing up with the Tru Tone Review, I decided to compare them with the first generation GE C7 bulbs. They range from around the mid 1930's to mid 1940's. After being advised on the delicate finish, I now have them displayed on the small Christmas tree on top of my homemade clock, rather than on the porch. These bulbs are perfect, as far as deep, rich color goes, but their weak point is the finish is easily damaged. Should LED bulbs be made to look like these, with a robust finish, that would be a miracle!
