Rules for my run:
- If you take any damage the run is over
- You must play on the hardest difficulty "Dante Must Die"
- The Mission-End-Screen has to show you a "SSS" in every mission
- You are not allowed to use items
- Taking environmental damage is not allowed (all damage is avoidable through the entire run)
- You are not allowed to pause the game during combat
- Closing the game or restarting a mission is not allowed

GAME MODIFICATIONS:
- #1 "colored"- enemy-types get damage from all weapons like in the Definitive Edition
IN RETURN:
- #2 "colored"- enemy-types are less likely to get staggered if not attacked by their corresp. color
- #3 "colored"- enemy-types receive 30% less damage if not attacked by their corresponding color
- #4 ALL NON-BOSS enemies receive 20% less damage unless your style-rank is S or higher

There is a big reason why Ninja Theory developed the Definitive Edition with very similar changes. Sadly I was not able to copy-cat everything to 100%. Personally I like my changes a little bit more, because they allow an even more fluent gameplay (which was the main reason for the Definitive Edition changes).
Many people might say that the game got easier with change #1 and that it simplifies this challenge. This is a good point, but on the other hand I restricted my rules to make it more difficult and I also made moderate changes to all enemies to offset modification #1. And do not forget the improved evades in the Definitive Edition (more frames on Demon-Evade + 1 more Angel-Evade-Dash with more i-frames), which makes the Definitive Edition a lot easier.
The Definitive Edition comes with "Gods Must Die" as the hardest difficulty where enemies spawn instantly in Devil-Trigger but on the other hand enemy waves are mixed up again to a lot easier combinations. I find it personally easier on Gods Must Die due to the Evade-Changes + the easier enemy waves/combinations.
