To name a few conditions, that are like Type 1 diabetes or Type 2 diabetes during pregnancy or if there are conditions like hypertension, chronic kidney diseases, any infectious disease during pregnancy or if the maternal age is advanced and by advanced, I mean age above 35 years or if the body mass index is above 30, in all that conditions usually are considered to be of high risk during pregnancy. Also other conditions which could develop during pregnancies are gestational diabetes or hypertension or any other conditions. Also if the fetus has any structural abnormality or if you have multiple pregnancy like twins or triplets, then also the pregnancy is considered as high risk. Also if there is a previous history of recurrent miscarriages, either three or more miscarriages during previous pregnancies or if there is a previous history of any preterm delivery, also pregnancies could be considered as high risk.
