Yuletide Carol (Cymatics) is an arrangement of the Ukrainian Folk Song "Shchendryk" found in the public domain, for Handbell Choir, Balalaika Ensemble, and Orchestra.

The more popular "Carol of the Bells" is a "Christmas Carol" with lyrics by Peter Wilhousky using some of the folk music fragments borrowed by Mykola Leontovych, but the commercial version is NOT true to the original chant of the Ukraine, and none of those copyrighted materials have been used herein.

In my arrangement of "Shchendryk," recently commissioned by the Reno POPS Orchestra, I have also added an original counter-melody, played by the handbells at the beginning of the video. Thus, the music and Cymatic patterns in a drop of water are completely authentic and original creations --- a musical setting without lyrics and true to the original "chant," under full copyright (for those wishing to lay claim) by The Music Guild.
