Poland has taken significant steps in modernizing its military with the delivery of Homar-K launchers, part of a larger 2022 order for 218 modules. These multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), developed in collaboration with South Korea, integrate the Polish-made Jelcz 8x8 chassis and are capable of launching guided rockets and short-range ballistic missiles with extreme accuracy. The Homar-K offers impressive firepower, firing six rockets in just 30 seconds, making it a vital asset in Poland’s artillery modernization. With ongoing cooperation between Poland and Hanwha Aerospace, the country aims to achieve greater self-reliance in military production and munitions. The new deliveries will further strengthen Poland’s position as one of the leading artillery forces in Europe.
