Yes, I'm back... for those of you who have been following me for a while, you will know I have had some time off making videos as I'm in the middle of selling our house... lots of renos have happened and house painting has been done... so, with most of our stuff in storage and all the hard work, it's been impossible getting the creative juices to flow due to exhaustion and stress... and not forgetting to mention all my 'colourful yummies' have been packed up in boxes... but, I couldn't wait any longer, and in need of some therapy, I rummaged through the boxes looking for some bits to make a video to celebrate my new exclusive hand drawn Stencil Range... there will be more coming so stay tuned!

Anyway, thanks for sticking by me... so, grab a drink, sit back, relax and watch me paint this colourful Mandala using our new Mandala Maker Stencils... Set #1... These stencils have been hand drawn by me to give you a wonderful tool to use in many different ways...

These videos are done to give you some inspiration to create your own personal designs or follow along with what colours and tools you have... it doesn't have to be exactly the same... make it your own...

The colour palette was chosen from Sarah Renae Clark's Colour Cube... it was a random card selected by me... and no peaking... It's fun painting with something that you may not necessarily choose... trust the process and you will be pleasantly surprised... it's Card number 154... from the original set... and, if you have no idea what a 'Colour Cube' is... you are missing out! There is a NEW Second Edition version... I have this new set on my wish list of things to buy... you cannot have too many boxes of yummy colour palettes! Check out the link below...

Paints used in this video are once again a mix of odd paints that I already had from previous paintings... yes, I am still using up my stash... that were blended with Pouring Medium at a ratio of 3 parts paint and 1 part pouring medium with a touch of water... (a lot didn't have names on...) If you are following along, just use the colours you like...

The board used here is a 30cm MDF round... The guidelines are drawn using a Derwent watercolour pencil... rings from the middle are 1cm apart using a compass and the lines are drawn using a protractor at 22.5 degree intervals... or, 16 segments... I pretty much make my designs up as I go along... I never have a plan!

The Ball Stylus Dotting tools I am using in the video are from the McGill Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and the dotting rods are from Happy Dotting Company...
