7- Save your skin from the sun.
As you might know, skin cancer is one of the most dangerous types of cancer and one of the most preventable. Keep in mind these tips.
Use broad-spectrum sunscreen at least 30 SPF or higher before you go outside, even on cloudy days.

6- Stay physically active

5- Eat a healthy diet
Eating a balanced diet loaded with fruits, veggies, lean meat, whole grains, and legumes is a practical way to help control cancer. On the other hand, consuming processed food, red meat, and refined sugar is related to higher cancer risk. you can start by following these tips to help you adopt a cancer-fighting diet.
Drink green tea to boost your antioxidant intake. This can help protect against bladder and other kinds of cancer.
Eat 2.5 cups, or at least six servings, of fruits and veggies per day. It's better to change the colors you consume because the phytochemicals abundant in different fruit and veg pigments guard against various kinds of cancer. Some of the top anti-cancer produce items are blueberries, cranberries, cherries, raspberries, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, carrots, spinach, kale, and squash.
Have more fiber in your daily diet to reduce the risk of colon cancer. High-fiber foods are whole grains, legumes, and vegs.
Ingest less red meat, including beef, lamb, and pork. The saturated fat in these foods may raise the risk of colon and prostate cancer.
Eat less processed foods, such as bacon, hot dogs, sausage, pepperoni, and cold cuts. Because they have nitrate- or nitrite-based additives, eating even a small amount of these meats regularly can boost your colon cancer risk.
More vitamin D in your diet protects against prostate and colon cancer. Foods rich in vitamin D are fatty fish, mushrooms, egg yolks, fortified drinks, and cereals. You can also use vitamin D supplements.
4- Maintain a healthy weight
Obesity is a risk factor for multiple cancers, like breast, endometrium, colon, esophagus, pancreatic, kidney, lung, and prostate cancer. The key to slimming down is to take in fewer calories by consuming less and burn more calories by regular exercising. If you're unsure about your ideal body weight, you can calculate your body mass index (BMI).
3- Avoid tobacco products
Smoking tobacco drastically raises your risk of lung, throat, mouth, larynx, and other kinds of cancer. In reality, about 30 percent of all cancer, like 80 percent of lung cancer, are attributed to tobacco use. If you don't smoke tobacco, don't start. And if you do, quit as soon as possible.
2- Drink less alcohol
Alcohol consumption raises the chance of multiple types of cancer. There is no "safe" level of alcohol, and your risk rises the more you drink. The healthiest choice is to cut out alcohol altogether, but if you do indulge, restrict yourself to no more than two drinks daily. Remember that one drink is about 5 ounces of wine, or 1.5 ounces of 80-proof liquor.
