Bleaching Fuji FP-100B negative

Описание к видео Bleaching Fuji FP-100B negative

This shows how easy it is to bleach a Fuji FP-100B negative. The wet glass creates a seal while you bleach, protecting it from washing off. Use cold water and a soft brush, and medium pressure. You don't want to scratch the plastic while scrubbing, and the bleach does most of the work for you. When I flip it over, the intention isn't to wash off all of the developer, because then the emulsion will wash off. I just want to smooth it out with very light pressure so there is an even coating across the negative, hoping to avoid "waves" on the scanned negative. Then I let it dry in front of a fan (emulsion side up), assuming that the faster it dries, the less chance of bubbling. FP-100C is even easier because the emulsion is much tougher and you can rub off all the developer goop without worrying about removing the emulsion.
