German fighter pilots train IN THE USA?! Visit Sheppard Air Force Base with me!

Did you know that the German Luftwaffe (air force) trains their fighter pilots in the middle of Texas? In collaboration with the German Embassy, I got to visit Sheppard Air Force Base and meet one of the German student pilots. As part of the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program (ENJJPT), there are actually 14 NATO countries in total present here. So, what does the pilot training look like exactly? How do the different countries benefit from each other? And why is this program so important? Let’s find out!
