How To Clean And Seal A Stamped Concrete Patio (New or Old)

This video will show you how to clean and seal a stamped concrete patio. The method we use for cleaning and sealing can be applied to new stamped concrete or an older stamped concrete patio.
Pressure washing stamped concrete is the best method for cleaning the concrete. Using a degreaser like Dawn dish detergent works really good for removing powdered release agent, dirt, mildew, and most other types of debris on the concrete.
The key is to not get the pressure washer wand too close to the concrete or you could damage the surface or leave behind "lines" from the water blasting on the surface. Stay far enough away so you can still remove the dirt and debris but not cause any damage.
After cleaning, let the concrete completely dry out before sealing it. Give it at least 24 hours at 70 degrees and 48 hours if it's colder. I like to use Foundation Armor's AR 350 Acrylic sealer for my stamped concrete jobs.
