Hi Everyone,

We have a 10 years old Samsung LCD TV at our home. From our previous videos you might have already known that I was using it as a computer for my online classes. But from the past 1 year, due to extensive usage it has developed multiple issues such as Screen polarizer damage ,no audio output, screen flickering, delayed power on and many more.

So, instead of replacing it we thought of fixing these issues one after the other by ourselves. So, without further delay, let's fix the delayed power-on issue today.

We started by cleaning the TV with a dry cloth and unscrewing back panel of the TV. After opening the back panel we observed that a lot of dust has accumulated inside, so we vacuumed out all the dust. I believe vacuuming resolved our audio output issue.

After careful inspection we observed that one of the capacitors is bulged in the power circuit board of the TV, the Main board seems to be ok.

So, we carefully unplugged the board connector and unscrewed the power circuit board from the TV.

As you can see this capacitor has degraded and bulged, this has to be removed and replaced, It is a 25v 1200uf capacitor, but we were unable to find a matching capacitor in our local stores, So we bought a 25v 1000uf capacitor which is regularly used in TV’s. To be on a safer side we bought two of them, it cost us 20 rupees each.

I Initially tried to remove and solder it myself, unfortunately I was unable to do it, So, I got it fixed properly from my father. I will soon learn how to do soldering and let you all know in my next video when we replace the screen polarizer of this TV.

I have placed the power circuit board back in its place and secured it with all removed screws. Fixed the back panel of the TV. With the help of Kushi secured TV back in its place. Let's switch on and check, Finally Issue is fixed, TV got switched on under a second.
