The Indian Institute of Technology, Patna is one of the leading technical institutions of the country.

In this video, we have tried to capture the inside view of the Kalam hostel. The Kalam hostel (commonly known as, the old boys' hostel) is a 8-storey building divided into 4 blocks viz. A,B,C,D. It spreads across an area of 28,849 sqm. It has a total of 912 rooms, and all in it facilitates a balcony, window, cupboard, and enough niches. The hostel has two common rooms which are primarily used for recreational and co-curricular activities, a gymnasium and a dining hall with a mess. Furthermore, it also has various food joints and a canteen in the food court. Students have access to Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the building. There are a total of 6 elevators in the building. Water coolers and geysers are installed on each of the respective floors. Extinguishers are mounted in place, as well as other safety precautions.
