Rob Bourassa, Windy and Warm

Описание к видео Rob Bourassa, Windy and Warm

This was the 2nd Chet Atkins arrangement I learned when I was 12. I spent hours, ruining the album by lifting the needle over and over. Chet had asked John D Loudermilk to write a country piece for him so that he could get back to his roots. Everyone plays it differently but I always liked the second simple RCA recording Chet did with a little bass, drums and piano. I gave my son my old Gretsch because I met guitar builder Gary Zimnicki in Nashville at a Chet Atkins convention just after this guitar was built in 1993. I slapped a DeArmond pickup in it decided to use it for this, though it's usually my jazz box. I thought I would do a little video and get back to my roots as well.
