They move by hopping around and snort and grunt. Found only in Australia, kangaroos sleep on soft grounds with tall grasses all around. Kangaroos are herbivores, consuming grass, shrubs and plants of all kinds. A kangaroo can jump up to eight metres in one stride.

Little Kangaroos are carried in the mom's pouch and are called Joeys. Joeys love to play and are always under the watchful eyes of their mother. They live to be about twenty years and hop around their entire life. Kangaroos can also be found in red and grey colours and a group of them is called a mob. The male kangaroos are called Jacks whereas their female counterparts are called Jills. Kangaroos usually have long tails.
