Chasing after some bigger than average Lake trout and brook trout.
This was day 3 of my trip fishing the northwest region of Ontario Canada. We were hoping to get into some bigger Lakers but it seems we were still a little too early for the big boys. Water temps were still very cold for this time of year and the bigger lake trout hadn't moved up to the shallower humps. We were trolling ( flat lining) some big spoons. The brook trout were caught on a fluke rigged on a 1/2 oz. jig head.
