Can You UNSHRINK or UNFELT Alpaca Woolen Garments? | Experimenting with my Sweater

Alpaca woolen products tend to felt and shrink when they are washed uncarerfully. For example, when I put my alpaca woolen sweater in the washing machine it had shrunk about two sizes and it had started felted a LOT.

I was heartbroken until I found out these instructions from Purely Alpaca, claiming that you can actually UNSHRINK and UNFELT an alpaca woolen garment.

BUT, unfortunately, after going through these steps, my garment is still felted, but it did unshrink a bit AND it feels a lot softer!

Thank you Purely Alpaca for your awesome tips --- unfortunately they didn't work for me, but perhaps you know what to do now!?
