CZECH - #5 Word Order in a Czech Sentence

Описание к видео CZECH - #5 Word Order in a Czech Sentence

Czech syntax has a subject–verb–object (S.V.O.) sentence structure. This is the basic, objective word order used in neutral messages. But since Czech uses grammatical cases, its word order is more or less flexible.
The flexibility of the word order in the Czech sentence structure offers two main functions: topicalisation and focus. This could be called the subjective word order.
As for the other elements in the sentence, the attributive adjectives are usually prepositive, and the additional adjuncts that are not in the grammatical accordance with the superior nouns are usually post-positional.
Unstressed words, clitics, form stress units with preceding stressed words, adopting a Subject – Unit – Verb - Object structure.
