That quote pretty much sums up how unconditionally Tianyao loved Yanhui. So much that it was almost painful to hear, that he would rip off his own scales for her and her future (after the torture he was put through).

This drama, for me was fantastic. I know there were issues, low budget, terrible CGI, stiff acting. But I really loved the story (mind you I'm super biased to dragons haha). I enjoyed that this was more of an adventure story, and reminded of The Yin Yang Master (2021) movie which i loved. And I thought the dynamics between the monster world and humans was interesting and wished I could have shown more of it, and I loved the almost Romeo and Juliet romantic pairings between the two. And also, super refreshing to have limited misunderstandings and good communication, mostly wholesome couple, and for a Yanhui to 'become bad' but actually completely master the dark aura and make her b*** PLUS control Dragon Fire too, I mean, that was fantastic! Oh but Suying, you crossed the line when you killed Yun T_T I'll never forgive you for that!

P.S. I also really appreciated that this Xianxia took a different perspective about saving the world. Everyone's all like, we gotta sacrifice our loved one for the world blah blah but in this drama, the right choice was always saving the one person. Which coincidentally would always be my choice. Sorry world, I choose my husband over you XD

I also really love xianxias that don't do the three life reincarnation stories so that and with the humor and plot, this is probably my second fav xianxia! First of course being Love Between Fairy and Devil ;)
