Catching up with Mandy Takhar at the Punjabi Film Awards!

British Punjabi actress Mandy Takhar received the ‘Inspiration Award’ told us about her favourite film she worked in and also about her going into the line of singing.


On Saturday 12th May 2018, Brit Asia TV hosted the first ever Punjabi Film Awards in the UK in Birmingham. The event started off with the red carpet followed by the main event.

It was a night not to be missed! There were performances by Harrdy Sandhu, Satinder Sartaaj, Sharry Mann, Sunanda Sharma, Gurj Sidhu and Jasmine Sandlas who also hosted the event extremely well.

The event was also attended by other big artists such as Sargun Mehta, Mandy Takhar, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Tarsem Jassar and many more.

On the night Rupinder from Simplybhangra caught up with many of these artists to ask about their upcoming projects!
