Stepmom Murder Trial: Prosecutor Says Letecia Stauch's Stepson Was Beaten, Stabbed & Shot

Prosecutor Michael J. Allen presented the state’s opening statements Monday in the murder trial of Letecia Stauch, the Colorado stepmother accused of murdering her 11-year-old stepson, Gannon Stauch. “He was fighting for his life,” Allen said explaining how officials believe the brutal killing happened. Prosecutors allege Stauch killed Gannon, put his body in a suitcase, and later dumped it in Florida.
