八門 EIGHT GATES Wind and Thunder

The eight Gates are related to the "eight trigrams" of the Yi Jing, the Book of Changes. They are a fundamental concept in Taiji Quan, but for me they are also a brilliant grammar, a key to understanding "all" martial arts. Here we study Wind and Thunder applied to the arts we know. As an example there is also a combination that was the favorite of Zhou Shi Bin, Master of my Master.

Le Otto Porte sono in relazione agli "otto trigrammi" dello Yi Jing, il Libro dei Mutamenti. Sono un concetto fondamentale nel Taiji Quan, ma per me sono anche una grammatica geniale, una chiave di lettura per analizzare "tutte" le arti marziali. Qui studiamo Vento e Tuono applicato alle arti che conosciamo. Come esempio vi è anche una combinazione che era la preferita da Zhou Shi Bin, Maestro del mio Maestro.
