Double-header this time because the guy voted to move past just Shining Legends this time. This is because no tournaments were recorded for the SLG format exclusively, and Crimson Invasion is a bit of a weaker set so not as many new decks come out of it anyway.

Shining Legends is an awesome mini-set, the first of its kind, which promotes Shiny Pokémon in the TCG. This is largely a reprint set, and tbh in retrospect I'm not a huge fan of the arts... but more accessibility is always a good thing! the unique cards it has are actually very strong too. In particular, Zoroark-GX is one of the best cards of all time!

Crimson Invasion is the introduction of the Ultra Beasts, a new sub-class of card which all have a part of them to do with the Prizes cards. Whether that be taking one, doing damage based on how many are left or even adding a card to the opponent's prizes, there are plenty of effects to discover as we progress. There's a lot to go over, so let's check out what these two sets have to offer!
