Ep 372 – Irish Night at the Liverpool Irish Centre

This week's programme is a music and dance extravaganza courtesy of the Bolger Cunningham School of Irish Dance and Sliabh gCua Set Dancing Club from Touraneena, Co.Waterford.

The two dance schools have operated an exchange scheme since the 1970s, and we join them at the Liverpool Irish Centre for a lively toe-tapping evening of non-stop entertainment.

The Sliabh gCua Set Dancing Club bring along their own enthusiastic band that pump out the traditional music and we also hear from Michael Coyne.

With interviews from Meadhbh Houlihan and Kathleen Cunningham, we learn about the special relationship of the two clubs.

It's a lively night, so get on your dancing shoes and party along with the Liverpool Irish team.
