It was nearly twenty years ago that Victoria's mayor took a sledgehammer to the city's old arena kicking off its eventual demolition. After more than a half-century of hockey games, concerts, and events the old Barn on Blanshard was prepped for the wrecking ball, paving the way for the new Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
