25 Years of Impact and Evolution
Founded in 1997 by a group of supply chain professionals in the United States, TAPA set out to elevate global standards for cargo security.
Just three years later, TAPA APAC and TAPA EMEA were established, bringing these global standards to businesses across Asia Pacific and Europe.
Over the years, TAPA APAC transitioned from an individual membership structure to a corporate-focused model, becoming a trusted partner in strengthening supply chain integrity.

Since its formation in 2000, TAPA APAC has been led by committed Board Members from across the region, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, India, and China.
From facility and trucking standards to guarding, cybersecurity, risk management, and business continuity, the association has grown steadily—today representing over 850 member companies.
