Al Alia International Indian School marked its 22nd Annual Day on Thursday, November 28th, 2024, showcasing a dynamic program performed by students from classes VI to XII. On November 30th, the Junior Section took the spotlight, enchanting the audience with their exceptional performances and concluding the annual day event by leaving spectators in admiration of their skill and elegance. Mrs. Shabana Parveen, the Principal of Modern International School was the Guest of Honour for the occasion. Mr. Biju Oommen Joy, the Manager of the School and the School PRO, Mr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Ghamdi also graced the occasion with their presence.
The festivities began with a recitation from The Holy Quran, seeking divine blessings. Mr. Sreekanth Radhakrishnan, the Academic Supervisor for the Boys Section, extended a warm welcome to the august gathering.
Principal Mrs. Kavitha Latha Kadhiresan delivered the School Annual Report, highlighting the awards and remarkable achievements of students across various academic and extracurricular activities. Certificates of excellence were awarded to the top performers from Class X and XII Board Exams 2023-24 academic year, for their extraordinary academic results. The inaugural ceremony was wrapped up with a vote of thanks presented by Academic Supervisor Mrs. Shalini Ninan.
The students dazzled the audience with a range of captivating performances including Petal Dance, Musical Drama: Bahubali, Northern Groove,Incredible India, Arabic Blitz, and Fusion Dance that left the audience mesmerized. The skit performed by our senior section boys Purani Aur Nayi Duniya brought to life through the dedication and talent of our young performers. The Senior Girls brought the famous fairy tale, 'The Beauty and The Beast,' to life, transporting everyone into a realm of magic and wonder. The choir group enchanted both the audience and honored guests with their harmonious melodies. Various dance styles, such as Cinematic, Classical Fusion, and Folk Dance had everyone engaging in rhythmic admiration. In addition to the lively dances presented by kindergarten, pre-primary, and primary students, the true highlight of the celebration was the impeccably performed Rajasthani Dance. The Goan Dance, Bunny Party, Heartbeat of Real Heroes, Heal The World, Jumpy Jester Dance, Maharashtrian Koli Dance, and Tribute to Sports were serving as the figurative cherry on top. The Head Boy proposed the vote of thanks, and the celebration concluded on a joyous note, inspiring students to pursue further achievements in their path to success.
