MY SOLO TRIP TO WAKKANAI AND RISHIRI ISLAND, HOKKAIDO (稚内市, 利尻島)

This year on my birthday, I decided to go on a solo adventure to the northernmost part of Japan, Wakkanai and Rishiri Island, Hokkaido. It was my first to go on a solo trip, and I was so excited about it. When I told my Japanese friends about my birthday trip, they were surprised and told me that there's nothing to do and see in Wakkanai. Little did I know that this trip is going to be one of the best trips of my life. I learned so many things about myself, and I met wonderful people along the way. Wakkanai and Rishiri Island are two of the most beautiful places I've visited in Japan. If you're into nature and the great outdoors, then you should definitely add these places to your bucket list.
