We built many Java applications through our years in college, but we haven't tried much to explore more of this beast other than what was given to us in the Java course!

I hope this video can show you a glimpse of the true power of Java. Many of the concepts used here we were not even aware of its existence...

I think we were conditioned to think the way we learned Java in college. So, I hope this video will be an inspiration to your creative ideas for awesome Java applications.

So, how exactly is this application different than what we usually do? I think I can summarize the main points into these bullets:

Enrich your GUI with images!! It will be much more usable and intuitive. Not to mention that it will look like a work of a pro ;)

We were never satisfied with the looks of the default Java buttons, combo boxes, ...etc. Did we try to change that? NO! And all what it takes is a single line of code!! =)

Netbeans and Eclipse are very close friends. We should never separate them from each other. =)

That's all what I have to say, and I hope you'll take it to the next level! and then the level after that! And then, ... you get the picture? Java has endless possibilities ;)
