Monoclonal antibodies are small chemicals prepared in the lab and can be shot accurately at a particular molecule in the body. There are different antibodies in our bodies but when IgE antibodies attack foreign bodies, it affects both our bodies and the foreign body. When foreign bodies enter our bodies, the IgE antibodies start activating and as an effect reactions like breathlessness and other symptoms might occur. Monoclonal antibodies will target the IgE antibodies.
