Minian: An open-source Miniscope analysis pipeline | Miniscope Workshop | Day 2 (pt. 7/9)

The 2021 Virtual Miniscope Workshop took place on November 29 - December 1, 2021 and brought together several hundreds scientists from around the world for a 3-day event of lectures and hands-on tutorials. The workshop was designed to introduce all aspects of using Miniscopes, including basic principles of Miniscope design and imaging, how to build and attach a Miniscope, how to implant a GRIN lens for imaging deep structures, and how to analyze imaging data. It also covered the most recent developments in Miniscope technology and highlighted some of the best advances in this exciting and growing field.

The event was organized by Daniel Aharoni, Denise Cai, and Tristan Shuman, and it was hosted at MetaCell's Workspace for Calcium Imaging Analysis.

Following the workshop, many attendees have expressed their wish to stay in touch with the community, focused on the calcium imaging data analysis, so MetaCell and the Miniscope Team have created a Slack channel where anyone interested in exchanging experience, questions, and solutions is welcome to join.

Besides the Slack channel, you are welcome to contact us for any questions you might have during your research involving Miniscope, Minian Pipeline, and calcium imaging data analysis.
