2016 Audi A3 | 5 Reasons to Buy | Autotrader

Описание к видео 2016 Audi A3 | 5 Reasons to Buy | Autotrader

The 2016 Audi A3 reminds us of the original Audi A4 sedan from a few decades back. Talk about a great sport sedan, it was small enough to fit into any spot, capable enough to hang with premium sports cars and practical enough to haul you and your friends around town. These days, however, the A4 is larger and more expensive, which is where the A3 fits in. Modest in stature, yet overflowing with features and performance, the 2016 A3 gives us five reasons, and then some, why it's a must drive.
Upscale Styling Inside and Out
Even though it's labeled as Audi's entry-level car, the A3 has top-of-the-line aesthetics. Visually, the A3 looks like an undersized version of Audi's other sedans, but it's actually a bit sportier, with clipped overhangs and an assertive stance. Inside, the A3 is right on par with its pricier siblings, with expected Audi refinement in the controls and materials. The center stack is simple, rather than having a surplus of buttons and gadgets. The A3 is certainly user-friendly.
With a starting price of just over $30,000, the A3 is more affordable than some fancy family sedans, but it has some excellent standard features, such as xenon headlights, Bluetooth, Audi's Multi Media Interface (MMI) system and a 10-speaker audio system. That's a ton of value, especially when you factor in the prestige of the Audi name. The A3 costs less, but you'll receive more.
Strong, Efficient Engines
The base 1.8T 4-cylinder engine has a solid 170 horsepower, and you'll see a satisfactory 33 miles per gallon on the highway. If you want more performance, the 2.0T 4-cylinder kicks out 220 hp and boasts the same 33 mpg hwy. Across the board, the engine is a delight, with sufficient turbocharged torque and smooth power from A to Z.
Available All-Wheel Drive
As is the case with other Audi sedans, the A3 1.8T comes with front-wheel drive, in case you don't need quattro all-wheel drive. The legendary quattro system comes standard on 2.0T models, and it makes the A3 ready for any situation, any time. No matter the elements, the A3 is ready to deliver. It keeps rival sedans, like the front-wheel-drive-only Acura ILX, on their toes.
Premium Driving Feel
The A3 is on the smaller side, but it drives like a true luxury car. Highway driving in the A3 is quiet and stable at any speed, but when it takes tight turns, it hunkers down like a sport sedan, especially with all-wheel drive. You can bet that behind the wheel the A3 is an Audi through and through, and it might be a little easier to park than its larger siblings.
Autotrader Says
The 2016 Audi A3's value is hard to match, and it's certainly ready for any competition. Time to go to your Audi dealer and check out the Audi A3.
