Author Douglas Murray warns the UK government has been forced into an “ugly” diplomatic situation after the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant.

“The Labour government is squirming about this. It has previously said it would observe the International Criminal Court’s judgements and warrants,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“I think they probably know, among other things, that this puts them in an incredibly unpleasant, ugly, visibly ugly diplomatic situation.”
