Hey lovely witches,
Today I want to share one way of how I understand ancestral magic and witchcraft as a secular witch. Now, this is only one aspect of a bigger picture (more to come on the topic of ancestral witchcraft around Samhain) but I really enjoy connecting to the land and the spirits of the land, when I work my magick. WHat that means is, to look into history, culture, going through your area with open eyes and see what has shaped it and its' society and beliefs - where do the roots lay? What did the ancestors of the land belief, how did they live and what bits of folk magic have carried on to today?
Today I am showing you how such witchcraft research could look like on the example of Cordoba, Spain. But of course, you can apply the same techniques to any area - regardless if you are an urban witch or live in the middle of nowhere :)
