RYD's Hank Dude soft surfboard is one of the coolest foamies we've seen and looks like a brilliant option to maximise wave count and make the most of average to poor conditions. The construction is as good as it gets.

The Hank Dude board is basically a foamie version of a modern Mid Length. Its designed to bridge the gap between shortboards and longboards, the mid-length gives you all the paddle power you need and a new appreciation for drawing classic lines on open faces. The board features the classic rounded pin tail, beautifully shaped rails and is nice and rigid thanks to the laminated epoxy core. The board comes with a plastic single fin, and you can set up with a pair of side bite fins too so you can ride as a 2 + 1. To get the most out of this board get your back foot over the fin to get it turning.

This Softboard has an EPS epoxy core and carbon fibre stringer, then 6 + 4oz epoxy laminated glassing and then the EVA Crock outer deck skin. This is a high quality set up which won't flex too much which in turn means great speed and responsive ride.

These foam surfboard boards are built to last and perform, so consider your Hank Dude foamie as a long term investment!

The Universal centre fin box will take any style of fin and any fitting from Futures, FCS, FCS II or plate and screw. The side bites are the FCS twin tab system secured by grubs screws, altogether a high quality set up.
